2013 Apple iMac

Following the announcement of two new iPhones plus the much talked-about iOS 7, Apple delivers another update to the iMac. On the outside, you’ll see no changes on the 2013 model. The real changes are all on the inside, as the sleek all-in-ones come with the faster, more energy-efficient Intel Haswell processors. For the smaller, 21.5-inch model, an Intel Core i5, clocked at 2.7GHz, comes standard, with 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive which can be swapped to a 512GB solid state drive (at an additional cost). The flagship 27-inch model is packaged with an Intel Core i5 3.4GHz processor but is scalable up to a Core i7. Loaded with Turbo Boost, the processor can deliver a blazing 3.9GHz clock speed. It can also come with an SSD if you prefer an all flash affair. All but one (the base model) comes with NVIDIA GeForce 700 Series graphics and with the usual ThunderBolt and USB 3.0 ports. Like with all iMacs, these new models come with an Apple wireless keyboard and Apple Magic Mouse. You can even get yours with VESA Mount Adapter, if the sexy aluminum stand doesn’t do it for you. $1,299+.
