Allison Stokke is one of the best American young pole vaulters who set the U.S. record for a freshman girl at 12′8″. She dreamed of becoming the world’s best pole vaulter. Allison just turned 19, yet she’s already been an internet sensation for her athletic prowess, or maybe her unparalleled hotness. She’s out of high school now and heating up things over at UC Berkeley (Cal if you will). It’s refreshing to see another female athlete who may be super hot, but is also great at her sport and didn’t make it solely on her looks. Kinda like Maria Sharapova – Tennis, Ana Ivanovic – Tennis (and a few more tennis stars, i.e. Daniela Hantuchova etc., not Anna Kournikova!), Sasha Cohen – Figure Skating, Danica Patrick – Racing, and Gina Carano (AKA Crush) – MMA, who are all actually really good at their sports. So, thank you Allison. She’s athletic, smart, and gorgeous? This youngster has a future. Maybe we’ll see her in London 2012. There’s nothing more thrilling than seeing a cute girl ride a pole through the air, am I right?
