No, they are not decorative vases. What you are now looking at is the future of home theater speakers. The Altec Lansing OMNI Speakers are built that way to lessen vibrations and boost sound quality. The speakers will have a woofer, a mid speaker and a tweeter for that complete sound. Careful about handling, as the speakers are wrapped in a solid ceramic plate. No word yet on availability and pricing but one thing is for sure: the OMNI speakers have the size and performance to boot. Just like you do.
