Canon 1D X

Next year promises a bright new vision for Canon with the introduction of their newest flagship camera. The 1D X will be the company’s latest showcase and it goes a completely unexpected direction. That’s because the full-frame camera now has 18-megapixel sensor but bumps up the usable ISO at 204,800. It’s loaded with three new image processing chips and shoots at 12 frames a second. Because it’s the top-of-the-line camera, expect to pay top dollar for it too. It should be out in March of 2012, so plenty of time for Canon fanboys to save up if they really want the newest. $6,800.
