Chariot Skates

The developers of Chariot Skates are definitely on to something; not only do they glide like inline skates but they also have angle mobility and maneuverability similar to the sensation of skiing. What makes these really awesome is the fact they can be used on rough terrain like gravel roads, dirt paths and downhill grassy slopes. They are made of carbon fiber and weigh only 5.5 pounds each. In addition, there is an optional hand break. The company already has a patent on the skates and they hope to have them in production and out to the public in June 2010. $TBA.
