FujiFilm FinePix Z Series

Technical wizardry and sensor improvement isn’t reserved for DSLRs anymore. At least that’s how FujiFilm sees things which is why they’ve loaded their latest Z Series cameras with a brand-new, EXR CMOS sensor. While it may not mean much to the creepy-guy with a camera, the new sensor allows you to take cleaner images at lower light, plus a wider dynamic range than cameras with older light-gathering chips. It’s also loaded with an improved Fujinon lens with a 24-140mm range, all in a slimmer chassis. There are several scene modes within the camera, making it absolutely noob-friendly. $280.
