The smartphone battle is really heating up in earnest. HTC throws their hat in the ring with the Windows Phone 8X. As you can tell, it runs on Windows 8, powered by a Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor that’s clocked at 1.5GHz. The first feature that HTC wants you to appreciate is the ultrawide front camera, to allow you and your buddies those mandatory self-portrait shots. The wide angle gives the people on the fringes a chance to be included in the frame. A unibody construction with all the angles trimmed and softened gives it a much more pleasant feel, and thanks to the Beats amplification, the sounds coming out should be rocking as well. $200+.
