JVC Everio X: All In One Hybrid

Good things come in small packages. This is proven in the JVC GZ-X9000 or simply the Everio X. It’s a digital camera and camcorder crammed into a case small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. At 0.66 ounces, it’s light in weight but heavy in features. In camcorder mode, it shoots full HD video with 1000 lines of resolution. Fans of super slow-mo will be glad to know that the Everio can shoot 2.4 seconds of video in 24 seconds, or an equivalent of 10x slow-mo speed. JVC claims that the Everio can beat high-end DSLRs by shooting up to 15 frames per second at 9 megapixels. And another trick up the Everio’s sleeve is the ability to capture full HD video and still images simultaneously. You’ll just have to wait ’til July for the release of this hybrid beast. $1000.
