Leica X1

For some purists, only a Leica will do. And this new addition to the fabled German camera lineup is certainly worth salivating for. The X1 is the result of over 100 years of camera building experience and will surely delight those who can afford it. It features a large, professional CMOS sensor like those found in the high-end digital SLRs. The camera’s eye is a 24mm f/2.8 Leica Elmarit aspherical lens. Simple and functional, you can let the camera do all the work and manage all the settings or you can dial them yourselves if you feel adventurous enough. There’s also a hot shoe for external flashes or a viewfinder and a pop-up flash for more light when you need it. $TBA.
