Batman had voice command on the Batmobile, there’s no reason why smartphones can’t have that feature as standard. Lenovo picks up the slack and features just that on the A586. Instead of patterns or codes, the phone uses a voice passphrase to unlock it. With aid from Singapore’s A*STAR and Baidu, the A586 distances itself from its peers, even though it has pretty much the same innards as mobiles in the same category. On the hardware side, it has a 1.2GHz processor from Qualcomm, 4GB of onboard memory and a 4.5-inch display. The phone’s available in China right now and the company’s shopping page is live so you can try ordering yours now. ~$160.
