LG Optimus 2X

How smart is your smartphone? Probably not as smart as this one from LG. Dual-core chipsets aren’t on the realm of personal computers anymore since the Optimus 2X will sport the Tegra 2. The 1 GHz, dual-core processor allows you to watch seamless, 1080p video on the big, 4-inch screen. Other features include an 8MP rear camera (with a 1.3MP in front), a 1,500 mAh battery, HDMI mirroring and an 8GB onboard memory that’s expandable via microSD. The first units will be shipped with Android 2.2 (Froyo) but will be upgraded to Gingerbread afterwards. No news on the US release but Asia and Europe will see this dual-core wonder first. $TBA.
