To say that the 1987 Guns ‘N Roses monster ‘Appetite for Destruction’ record was an influential album would be like saying Moammar Gaddafi loved to rule Libya. AFD was, and will always be, one of the most iconic rock albums in the last three decades, no thanks in part to the brutal sound generated by Slash and his Marshall amps. The company wanted to recreate that tone so they’re releasing the AFD100 Slash Signature Series. The dual-mode amp head pumps out 100-watts of pure rock and roll in classic and hot-rodded flavors. Comes with a three-way footswitch but doesn’t come with Slash’s mad skills. You’d have to work on that, sonny. ~$1,950.
