For its 60th Anniversary, McIntosh Labs introduces their first Integrated Audio System, the MXA60. No, this is not from Steve Jobs skunk works, the McIntosh is a totally different animal, which focuses on delivering true-to-life audio reproduction. The MXA60 may be small but it doesn’t skimp out on performance. It pumps out 75 watts per channel that’s housed in a cast aluminum enclosure. Even better than the looks is the sound from the vacuum tube preamplifier. There’s a CD/SACD player, AM/FM tuner, and audio input for your portable music player. $7,500.
