Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2: Ready In The Bull Pen

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 2: Ready In The Bull Pen
No other test driver will have the same legacy as Lamborghini’s Valentino Balboni. The man was hired by Ferruccio Lamborghini himself and has tested all of the modern-day prototypes and some production models. In gratitude, Lamborghini is celebrating Valentino’s retirement by releasing the Gallardo LP 550-2. It’s the kind of bull that Valentino wants to ride, with a powerful V10 engine spinning the rear wheels exclusively. Veering away from the new all-wheel drive Lambos, Valentino’s version will guarantee a more spirited drive since it will have a tendency to stick its rear out. The 550hp engine is less powerful by 10hp from the other Gallardo but has a lighter curb weight so achieving great speed is all but certain. Only 250 of this ultra-special version will be made. $220,000.

Elmoto Cycles: Fun In Mobility

Elmoto Cycles: Fun In Mobility
It’s not exactly a bike, nor a full-fledged scooter. The Elmoto is a small, light motorcycle powered by an electric motor. In other words, it’s good, clean fun. Tipping the scales at just a shade under 100 lbs, the Elmoto is heavier than a bike but lighter than a scooter or a moped. Its brushless, gearless, rear hub motor is rated at 2 kW, pushing the bike to speeds up to 30 mph on level ground. The 48V, 25Ah battery can be recharged in as little as 2 hours giving the bike up to 45 miles of travel. Full charge will cost you a measly 70 cents, not bad for a stylish looker of a bike huh? The bike will start its journey from Stuttgart, Germany. ~$4,600.
