You probably never thought you’d see it. Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog working together for international glory. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is the latest title from Sega for the Wii. Since Sega’s departure from the console scene, they’ve been helping Nintendo out with awesome games for their consoles.

From what we’ve seen the game looks pretty spectacular and makes you question whether the Wii’s graphic capabilities are inferior to PS3 and Xbox 360 or not. Enjoy playing Mario, Sonic, and the rest of the Nintendo Vs. Sega crew as they tackle the 2008 Beijing Games. Check out the trailer after the break. $50.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii finally shows gamers what the Wii can actually do in terms of graphics. Of course with the Wiimote it’ll be fun regardless, but the imagery is kind of awesome.

Whack your friends with different objects in the game and knock them out of the game, just keep the Wiimote to yourself. See the game trailer after the break. $50.

Call of Duty has crawled out of the trenches of World War II and into a modern terrorist conflict in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game is set in a present-day Middle Eastern setting.

If you’re a fan of first person shooters, Call of Duty, SOCOM, Counterstrike, or any of the other carbon copy machine gun games, you’ll love this updated version of Call of Duty. Also available for PC gaming. $60.

If you thought Guitar Hero was an experience, check out Rock Band. Can we say overkill? If you can hang with playing guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocals, then this is the game for you. You need 4 people to make a proper rock band, but if you can gather the crew it’ll be loads of fun. Also available for Playstation 3. $170.

You don’t have to be an Asian guy with an excess of energy to enjoy this game, but it certainly helps. Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party is the latest interactive video game for the Wii which lets you sweat to the sounds of obnoxious techno music.

If you can get the rhythm down, you’re sure to love this one. The rest of us will just watch from a safe distance and point. $70.

If you’re into Halo, you already know about Halo 3 coming out. Check out the Halo 3 Legendary Edition which comes with an awesome box, bonus DVD’s and a cool helmet thingie. This collector’s edition is for true Halo fans, casual players might want to opt for the Halo 3 Limited Edition or the standard Halo 3 for Xbox 360. $130.

The Guitar Hero franchise has always been fun and downright addictive, but Activision/Red Octane has upped the ante with legendary tracks from The Rolling Stones, Kiss, Santana, Pat Benetar, Guns N’ Roses, The Killers, Iron Maiden just to name a few. If that weren’t enough, famed Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash will be an unlockable character.
