Magneat Headphone Organizer

Magneat Headphone Organizer
Dangling headphone cords are the bane for most joggers, skaters, or gym buffs. They snag on to whatever obstacle and pop the phones out of your ear. If you’re lucky, you just miss a tune from your favorite track but it could get worse – the phone or the player could get damaged. Prevent such moments with this nifty headphone cord organizer called the Magneat. Place one magnet inside your clothes and attach the other from the outside, wrap the cord to acceptable lengths and you’re set. No more extra slack of dangling wires, just carefree listening. $15.

Ultrasone HFI 2400 Headphones
These new Ultrasone HFI-2400 Headphones are driven by 40mm drivers and Ultrasone’s S-Logic technology and have a frequency range of 10-25Khz and 75 Ohms of impedance. They also feature metal shielding to reduce the emitting of magnetic radiation. Sounds like a solid package to us. $295.

Elekit Tube Amp

Elekit Tube Amp
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again; vacuum tubes add character to any audio setup. They add the warmth and depth to the sound that cannot be replicated by any solid-state device. But if you’re still uneasy about going the ‘tube’ way, then this amp’s for you. Japanese designer Koichi Futatsumata developed this hybrid amplifier for Elekit. The power amplifier stage of the amp is built on semiconductors or solid state devices while the character comes from the vacuum tubes in the tone control stage. Two 10W channels for the output give ample punch to a decent pair of speakers with a frequency range of 5 to 50,000 Hz. A mini jack on the side of the amp lets you connect your portable players. No word on pricing yet but it would certainly be worth it. $TBA.

Why waste your time fiddling with the tiny buttons on other FM transmitters for your iPhone or iPod when you can use the large touch screen? The Griffin iTrip lets you do that, with the iTrip and the iTrip Controller App. If your iPhone/iPod is running on OS 3.0, you can simply plug the iTrip to the dock connector, press SmartScan and you’re ready for broadcast. Three user-programmable presets let you remember your favorite frequencies. You can also choose between mono or stereo transmission for the best signal. Owners of older iPods need not worry since the iTrip will work on their devices too, without the app support of course. $50.

Sony Ericsson MH907 Earphones

Sony Ericsson MH907 Earphones
Sometimes you need to interrupt music to take a call or to talk to someone. This is especially difficult if you have earphones/headphones on. Not with the Sony Ericsson MH907 earphones though. Plug both earbuds in both ear canals to listen to music, then if you need to talk to someone, just take one out. The music automatically pauses so you can give your full attention. It works the other way too, by plugging the earphones to your Sony Ericsson phone, you can answer a call just by putting one earbud in. ~$55.
