Capture the moment, when it happens, as it happens, in full resolution with this top-of-the-line camera. Hasselblad’s latest addition to their 50 megapixel H-series is the H3DII-50 MS. Key acronym here is the MS, which stands for Multi-Shot, meaning, you can take four consecutive shots at full resolution. The camera does this by moving the sensor one pixel at a time after each shot so you’ll never miss the action and you’ll never pine for more resolution. Again, as with many medium or large format cameras, this one’s for the pros who intend to shoot action as it happens and get paid tons of cash. $34,000.

A drop in the bucket doesn’t look like much but over time, those drops add up. The same goes with energy consumption at work or at home. What you think are insignificant figures in energy usage are in fact important. HP Compaq wants you to cut down on your energy usage with their new LCD monitors such as this LE1711. It has all the trimmings of a typical active matrix TFT such as 1280×1024 resolution at 60Hz, 160-degree viewing angle, and 1000:1 contrast ratio. But the number you should be looking at is the 38% reduction in power consumption and the 50% less usage of harmful materials for the construction. Over time, you’ll see that going energy efficient is the right way. $125.

Haglöfs makes all kinds of outdoor gear for camping and sports but they’ve now entered the tech industry with these nifty laptop bags that are waterproof. They weigh only 70 grams and are made of durable 40 denier polyamdie 66 ripstofabric. In layman’s terms that means it’s not going to tear. It also has a double TPU-coating which will protect it in extreme heat. Considering my laptop actually suffered a typhoon in Asia last year I’ll definitely be getting one of these for when I travel. $TBA.
