Haglöfs makes all kinds of outdoor gear for camping and sports but they’ve now entered the tech industry with these nifty laptop bags that are waterproof. They weigh only 70 grams and are made of durable 40 denier polyamdie 66 ripstofabric. In layman’s terms that means it’s not going to tear. It also has a double TPU-coating which will protect it in extreme heat. Considering my laptop actually suffered a typhoon in Asia last year I’ll definitely be getting one of these for when I travel. $TBA.

Give your data the total protection it needs, right from the start. Your portable hard disk may have some sophisticated encryption software but it doesn’t prevent the clever hacker from accessing the drive. Not with the Aegis Padlock Drive though. The drive has its own unique PIN so only the authorized users may be able to access the contents. A seamless, real-time encryption makes sure that your data is safe, even if the hard disk itself is physically removed from the enclosure. The Aegis Padlock offers either a 128-bit or a 256-bit AES encryption and up to 500 GB or space. $100+.
