They weigh only 70 grams and are made of durable 40 denier polyamdie 66 ripstofabric. In layman’s terms that means it’s not going to tear. It also has a double TPU-coating which will protect it in extreme heat. Considering my laptop actually suffered a typhoon in Asia last year I’ll definitely be getting one of these for when I travel. $TBA.

A-DATA is making the SH93 with catastrophes in mind; they’ve reinforced the portable drives to withstand water up to 3.3 feet deep for half an hour and even conforms with the military standard drop test. The yellow or red case is rubberized while the wraparound USB cable means you don’t lose the cable in the floods or anywhere else. Drive capacity ranges from 250GB up to 640GB.
