From the cutting floor to Steve Nash’s quick feet, Nike is showing the world that it does care for the environment. In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, they will release the Zoom MVP Trash Talk. No, the shoes won’t cuss and curse at you for wearing pink socks. It’s so-called because the materials used for this shoe is from trash, literally. The upper part and outsoles are made from materials discarded from the manufacturing process of other shoes. Even the box that comes with this basketball shoe is made from 30% less material. Nike won’t solve the environmental crisis our planet is facing but at least, they can trash talk their way into a greener shoe. $92.
