Nikon offers their newest glass with the broadest focal length at 80-400mm. Subjects from a great distance could be captured with ease, and thanks to the new Vibration Reduction technology, you can even use slower shutter speeds in less-than-favorable lighting conditions. But if you prefer shooting things that are far less mobile, the lens will also capture subjects as close as 5.7 feet. Though we suggest you don’t get that close to a king cobra. $2,700.
