Pro-level camera without the pro-level weight and hassle, what’s not to like about Nikon’s new digital SLR? Well, if you’re going by a different brand, none of those would matter. But if you’re loyal to Nikon, the new D750 should absolutely whet your appetite. For starters, it’s equipped with a new 24.3 MP CMOS FX-format (full frame) sensor coupled with a new EXPEED 4 image sensor. Capture crisp images in unbelievable resolution, plus Full HD video too, thanks to this sensor package. Shooting in the dark or in poorly-lit conditions is also easier, thanks to the Advanced Scene Recognition System and the 51-point autofocus system. Incidentally, this is the same system used in Nikon’s flagship camera, the D4s and the D810. Also a first for Nikon is the tilting LCD screen for a full-frame camera. This is truly useful for those crazy camera angles and new points of view for shooting. There’s built-in Wi-Fi too, for easy sharing of your photos and videos to your favorite social networking site. Overall, the camera weighs lighter too, courtesy of the exotic materials like magnesium and carbon fiber Nikon used for the D750’s chassis. It’s available for pre-order now. $2,300.
