On August 21, Omate launched their TrueSmart Smartwatch on Kickstarter, and now they have reached the funding goal of $100,000. It’s a water-resistant and standalone device, so it doesn’t need a smartphone connection. It runs on Android 4.2, featuring 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 1.54-inch 240×240 LG TFT display, a 5-megapixel camera and 4GB storage through a microSD card. It also features sapphire crystal scratch-proof glass, 1GB RAM which was only 512MB earlier, and full Google Play access. $TBA.
