It uses a free, downloadable app to change the bulb’s color, act as an on/off timer or set the ambience of the room you’re in through your Wi-Fi network. As it’s powered by light-emitting diodes (LED), this bulb will last longer than its typical tungsten-powered brethren and will save you money in the long run, due to its lower power consumption.
