For years, I thought that a solar-powered flashlight was a sick joke. But boy I was wrong when I saw the Pisat Solar K-Light Lantern. Powered by a solar charger, the lantern uses 16 LED bulbs for up to 20 hours of operation. The unbreakable 1.5 watt solar charger is light and is long-lasting. Use the lamp as a flashlight or a lantern, with the different handle positions and the two power settings let you adjust the brightness of the light. Never be left out without a light again on your future hike or camping trip with the K-Light. $50.
