Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX66

Sony has unleashed a new line of point-and-shoot cameras including the Cyber-shot DSC-TX66. As expected, it comes with more megapixels on a chassis that isn’t much different from its predecessors. This one comes with an 18.2 megapixel Exmor sensor matched to a 5x zoom lens (26-130mm equivalent). Sony claims that this would be good for low light situations. Control is through a 3.3-inch touch screen LCD at the back and the camera comes with Sony’s ‘Picture Effect’ onboard software for digitally manipulating your shots. It’s available for pre-order now. $350.
