It’s hard to comprehend just how thin the new Sony Xperia Tablet Z really is. The specs say it’s 6.9mm, or in concrete terms, it’s about four and a half cents high, stacked one on top of the other. That makes it the thinnest 10.1-inch tablet available at the moment. It packs a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. An 8.1-megapixel camera takes care of the image capture, while NFC and LTE give it the compatibility for modern communications platforms. Even better is the fact that it’s both water and dust-proof. Sadly, it’s only for the Japanese market at the moment but we’ll keep you posted when it becomes available worldwide. $TBA.
