Yeah, you’re reading it right. Garmin, the GPS people are releasing a cell phone with a cool interface. Who knows how well it’ll compete with the iPhone, but we’ll see. It features the phone function of course, as well as a whole slew of Garmin GPS stuff, web browser, instant messenging, camera, mp3, etc. The Garmin Nuvifone will be available Q3 2008, and seems to be more useful for people on the go than the iPhone.
