Last year, the Android phone started to try and make it’s mark on the cellphone world. Would their new dabble finally be the “one”? HTC Hero is looking pretty good based on these images, but the third HTC/Android phone is also boasting of a new Android UI called Sense. The 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, GPS and 512 MB of internal memory also sweetens the deal. The most noticeable new features are of course the solar panels built in to the phone. LG said exposing the solar panel to the sun for a mere ten minutes will enable you to make a three-minute call. No pricing or release date have been announced, but if these recent moves by Samsung and LG are true indicators of energy trends, our gadget future will indeed be a lot more eco-friendly. $TBA.
