The heavily charred 40-gallon whiskey barrels come from the Jack Daniel’s distillery in Tennessee which is how this rum gets its smokey flavor. This full-bodied rum has a thick bouquet of fragrances including baked pears, orange peel, ginger, and maple. The herbaceous undertones are molasses and traces of smokey vanilla. Only 744 bottles will be released in the USA and with each bottle comes a numbered certificate of authenticity. $400.
