Enjoy all the niceties of an SLR camera in the body of a point-and-shoot. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 is a 12.1 MP mini-beast on a micro 4/3 format using a live MOS sensor. The compact design has an interchangeable lens system and is clearly aimed at the Olympus EP-1 pen camera. A 14-45 mm kit lens comes with the Lumix GF1 but of course, with extra cash, you can swap legacy 4/3 lenses or even those made by Leica. Aside from still photos, the GF1 also shoots 1280×720 HD video.
