Batman Arkham Asylum

Batman Arkham Asylum
Going to the belly of the beast is our favorite caped crusader. This new game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, features the Dark Knight fighting the bad guys of the infamous psychopath’s island. Featuring Gotham City’s villains that people love to hate, including The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Killer Croc, Batman fights them all with new tricks and new moves. Like to go invisible? You can in this game. Like multiple combos? That’s a check too. It’s fighting like you’ve never seen before, on a venue that you don’t usually see except when Batman’s looking up the bad guys. Available for PC, PS3, and Xbox. $53.

The Witcher Enhanced Edition: Game Review

The Witcher Enhanced Edition: Game Review
We had a chance to check out The Witcher, which has been called the RPG of the Year by just about everyone. We agree. You get to spellcast and swordfight your way through a fantasy world where you can do just about anything, and say anything. There are multiple non-linear journeys that lead you to different endings based on your decisions during gameplay. The graphics are crazy, the dialogue is crazy and you even get to test your pick-up artist skills on the ladies of the game. The game is rated M for Mature, which means it’s a must-have. There’s a lot of violence and sexuality in the game (another plus). Just make sure your computer hardware is up to snuff. $40.

Ion Slides 2 PC: Grandma’s Going Digital

Ion Slides 2 PC: Grandmas Going Digital

Have you ever been forced to sit through hours worth of slides, after helping lug around and set up the bulky equipment? If you haven’t then count yourself lucky, but here comes a product to take those ancient slides and film negatives into the 21st century. Just insert your slides or negatives into the machine and the 5 Megapixel scanner will transfer them straight to your pc. Then if your relatives still feel the need to show you pictures from their 1973 trip to the Grand Canyon, they can do it on their laptop where you can hopefully distract them with youtube videos, or any other wonders of the internet. $TBD.

Dell Studio Hybrid Desktop

Believe what you want about Dell Computers, whether you think they’re reliable or prepackaged zombie computers laden with Windows rubbish. Truth is, not all of us can afford Macs. But, with the Dell Studio Hybrid Desktop Computers, it’s all of the sudden hip to own a Dell (er… kind of). We’re very partial to the bamboo version; just one of seven choices for aesthetics. The inside is actually more interesting though with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, optional Tv Tuner, and optional Blu Ray optical drive. Eco-friendly materials and settings (70% less energy consumption than most other PCs) make the Dell Studio Hybrid the greenest consumer desktop PC. $500+. Read more »
