Looking to recapture their once untouchable status in the laptop world is Toshiba with the announcement of their latest Chromebook. Toshiba used to be the laptop of choice for businessmen before the era of instant Internet connection. To keep up with the times, the company is releasing a Chromebook of their own. For people who are always connected (read: everyone practically these days), the laptop runs on the Chrome OS with 100GB of storage provided by Google Drive. Hardware-wise, the Toshiba Chromebook will be carrying an Acceleron processor that’s helped by 2GB of RAM. The 13-inch display is larger than competing Chromebooks from other brands, but the price of Toshiba’s offering isn’t that much higher, making this option a particularly appealing one. Look out for this laptop by February. $279.
