Other than steering or signaling, your arms pretty much have little use when you’re biking. But what if you can harness all your upper body power for propulsion? With the Varibike, you can. Built within the handlebar stem is another set of cranks, connected to the pedals for added power. The hand-crank is linked to the main drive unit via a chain drive within frame. This means that when your feet feel a bit tired, your arms can take over the ride. Or you can go full arms and legs for a true full-body workout. Two models are available, the FR2 and FR3. The first model is fitted with Shimano derailleurs, TRP brakes and 28-inch tires. The FR3, on the other hand, will feature more premium parts but with the same hand-crank system. ~$5,035+.
