ViewSonic All In One PC: Companys First
While some computer companies may be on their 99th version of their all-in-one models, others are just starting to get their feet wet. ViewSonic, a company more known for their computer displays than actual computers, has launched their first-ever all-in-one PC, the VPC100. This all-in-one will not help NASA scientists discover intelligent life from outer space by itself but the pretty package may be enough for your average computer user. The big 18.5″ LCD display comes with an Intel Atom N270 1.67 GHz processor and 1GB DDR2 SDRAM. It also comes with a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, a couple of 3-watt stereo speakers, 4-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g wi-fi, LAN connection, and 4 USB 2.0 ports among others, all running on Windows XP Home Edition. $600.
